The king of Babylon wanted to gift his wife, the queen Amittis, a beautiful city with magnificent gardens. He commands you, his two best architects, to bring this project to life! Your task is to create the most impressive architectural ensemble and win in this exciting duel.

«Architects of Amittis» — is a dueling board game, whose main mechanic is tile placement. On your turn, you choose one of the buildings on the board, placing your architect on an available stack of tiles, and then place the obtained tile in your city and apply its effect. By positioning buildings in your city according to your project cards, you earn victory points. And if you manage your architects well, you can win the king's favor and receive additional rewards. The player who earns the most points during construction will be named the best architect of Babylon!

How to play?

Players take turns, starting with the first player.

On their turn, a player must perform 4 actions.

1. The player takes their architects from the building board if they had previously placed 3 of their architects in a row or if they have placed all their architects on the building board.

2. The player chooses a building tile from those available on the building board, takes this tile into their hand, and places their architect in its position.

3. The player places the chosen tile on their player board in an empty cell or on top of another tile, and then applies the effect of the built building. Most buildings allow you to earn victory points for certain conditions, and thanks to the PALACE, the player can also choose a new project card. Project cards are goals whose completion will bring points at the end of the game. These cards schematically depict the placement of certain buildings in relation to each other.

4. Gain the king's favor if you have placed 3 architects in a row on the building board, like in tic-tac-toe. In this case, you place one of your tokens in an empty space on the favor board to earn additional points at the end of the game.

Now the turn passes to the next player.

The game comes to an end when the tiles in two stacks on the building board run out.

Players tally their points. The player with the most victory points becomes the best architect of Babylon. In case of a tie, the king recognizes the merits of both architects, and both players are declared winners.
