This reference guide contains the main terms and concepts of transpersonal psychology - it is the first reference book on transpersonal psychology in Russia. The guide includes 263 terms, mostly related to transpersonal psychology and related fields. This reference book... will be useful for those who have already started studying this field but have not yet reached the level where reference literature is no longer needed. It is possible that not all terms are presented in this reference book, and additional terms will be added in future editions of the guide. For convenience, the terms are arranged alphabetically from A to Z to make it easier to find the necessary term. Transpersonal psychology itself emerged in the 1970s along with other psychological sciences and, by the beginning of the 21st century, was supported by a significant amount of research material. It should be noted that it has developed a specific object of study - altered states of consciousness. As for various esoteric and pseudoscientific teachings, no matter how naive it may sound, they are a kind of "application" to this discipline, which is largely conditioned by the worldview of various authors - scientists who created transpersonal psychology. A. Maslow, E. Sutich, S. Grof were the pioneers of transpersonal psychology; they wanted to create a discipline that would study special states of consciousness or abnormal states of human psyche, such as trance, mystical/religious experiences, mystical experiences, etc. The terms were taken from the books of S. Grof, K. Wilber, C. Tart, and many other transpersonal psychologists' books, and the goal of the reference guide is to facilitate the search for a specific term without rereading and sifting through all the books on transpersonal psychology consecutively. The author hopes that the guide will help and facilitate the study of such an interesting discipline as transpersonal psychology.
