Did the great civilizations of the Indus Valley disappear, leaving no heirs? Many think so. However, modern Sindis of Pakistan and Sindhis of India consider themselves direct successors of the Indus civilization. But the Sindis did not only live in India. The territory of the Northern Black Sea, from Taman to Novorossiysk, was referred to by ancient authors as the land of the Sindis. It was here that the legendary capital of the Sindis — Sindian Haven — was located. It is documented that the Sindis lived in Mediterranean countries. But that’s not all. In Europe, Asia, Africa, Central, and South America — everywhere you can find names of regions, mountains, lakes, and rivers associated with the Sindis. Why did the Sindis go unnoticed by world history and, after the fall of the Indus civilization, leave no grand structures?
