Guardian of the World Surface

A young Censor has recently begun his service, and now his main duty is to forbid. To forbid diligently, relying on a detailed manual, all texts that violate established norms. The Censor must only read and under no circumstances succumb to the sin of interpretation. But he is not just a cog in the state machine, he is the Guardian of the World Surface. He has been entrusted with the honorable mission of preserving the smoothness of language, polishing it from the roughness of meanings. And while outside the office windows a massive campaign against free thought is underway, while children are treated for an overactive imagination as if it were a dangerous ailment, the Censor reads continuously. 

But one who reads a lot risks falling into the rabbit hole of history, in other words, he may become what he fought against, joining the partisan underground, becoming part of the most unreliable community — the community of readers. 

So read if you dare, but remember: reading is dangerous.
