In the pages of the book, Lydia Korneevna shares memories of great authors and significant works she had to deal with, discusses the principles of creating, formatting, and editing text. Both critics and ordinary readers enthusiastically accepted «The Editor's Laboratory», and today it is considered one of the most important books dedicated to the Russian language and working with words.
