The monograph is an academic translation with commentary of the "Book of Certitude" — one of the main sacred writings of the new world religion — the Bahá'í Faith. The "Book of Certitude" covers a wide range of issues that go far beyond a single revelation, such as the nature of prophetic revelations, the status, mission, and function of prophets — founders of religions, their interrelation, the reasons why prophets succeeded one another throughout history (progressive revelation), the "return" of prophets and their companions, the concepts of Judgment and Resurrection, Heaven and Hell, God's wrath, the Messianic Kingdom, life and death, and more. Special attention in the "Book" is paid to the interpretation of the symbolism of sacred scriptures of religions, expressed in such metaphors as "sorrow," "sun," "moon," "stars," "Heavens," "new earth," "clouds," "trumpet," etc., as well as explaining from the Bahá'í perspective the concept of the "Seal of the Prophets."
