It is precisely in the alignment of the three conduits: the physical, the emotional, and the lower mental bodies, within the boundaries of the causal body and in their stabilization there through the effort of will that the real work of the Ego or Higher "Self" lies in any specific incarnation.

The great thinkers of the race, true expressers of the lower mind, are essentially those whose three lower bodies are aligned; in other words, those whose mental body carefully maintains the alignment of the other two bodies.
