For many years, the house spirit Kuzya has been held captive by Baba Yaga in a magical forest. The witch cannot extract the secret of the magical chest from him. When Kuzya finally manages to escape, he ends up in the apartment of a girl named Natasha and her parents. Here he meets Nafanya — a house spirit who oversees an entire stairwell! Kuzya must find his magical chest, which grants wishes, at all costs. However, not everyone can open it! Meanwhile, the treacherous Baba Yaga stealthily infiltrates our world and begins the hunt for Kuzya and his chest. The house spirits, Natasha, and her brave father Andrei accept the challenge. The meeting between Natasha and the house spirit changes both for the better: Kuzya learns to trust people, and the girl finally begins to believe in miracles.
