Before you is an expansion set for the game "The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth", which includes unique plastic miniatures of enemies from the campaigns "Dark Paths" and "The Ghosts of Dale". This set also includes new item... and title cards that will be added to the base cards of similar types.
To play with the "Dark Denizens" miniatures set, add it to the list of used sets in the "Collection" section of the app (press the green button "Use"). Now the app will recognize these components as available to you and will activate them when necessary.Then do the following:Add the miniatures of Morgoth's herald, Ursa, and Olli to the other enemy miniatures. The app will indicate when to place these miniatures on the board.
Add the "Immortal", "Wily One", and "Bound by Ties" cards to the title cards. The app will indicate when to draw these cards.
Add the "Ring", "Silver Ring", and "Crown of Seven Lights" cards to the item cards. The app will indicate when to draw these cards.
Add the "Knife", "Lindar Knife", and "Lassemaika" cards to the gear cards. These cards can be selected at the beginning of a new campaign or while upgrading gear during the campaign.

Each player chooses a character and a role for it, thus determining the set of skills and characteristics of the character. The player also receives starting gear and a skill deck – your main tool for interacting with the game world.
The campaign consists of a series of sessions, and each session takes place on a unique board, having its own objectives and opponents that you will face. To successfully complete the scenario, you need to accomplish a set of tasks provided by the electronic app. It also helps build the game board and guides you through the game. In the event of defeat, the campaign does not end, but players lose their reward. Between scenarios, players can upgrade their equipment and skills.The session itself consists of a series of rounds which are divided into phases: player actions, Darkness actions, and the Gathering Technical Phase. On their turn, players can travel, explore the area, attack opponents, and interact with various objects, including story-related ones.
In the Darkness action phase, the app gives directives on where the enemy moves and what happens to the game world (for example, it may expand). The longer the session lasts, the more dangerous Middle-earth becomes. At certain points, dire events occur, and if the threat scale fills up completely, players lose.Who Won?
Since the game is cooperative, everyone tastes the sweetness of victory and the bitterness of defeat together.
