Spider Goddess

In the Draconian / Typhonian tradition, the Spider Goddess is the Queen of the Cosmos and the Weaver of the Web in the Void. Her role and attributes are much more complex than what we know of her from ancient... mythologies, where this archetype is known by names such as Arachne, Uttu, Anansi, Spider Woman, Maya, etc.In the Klippothic Kabbalah, she is the queen of dark labyrinths beneath the Cosmic Tree. Her web stretches across the Void, overcoming the chasm between the Day and Night Sides, waking and dreaming, conscious and unconscious. Her power is a magical venom, deadly to ordinary consciousness but necessary in the formula of initiation, as it triggers the process of transformation through the inner alchemy of the mind. She is also the Weaver of Fate, and the spider as a symbol embodies the art of manipulating destinies and the ability to maintain balance between the past and the future, the spiritual and the physical, creation and destruction.
