The World of Slavic Gods

About the Native Gods - the Gods of our distant ancestors - is usually spoken little and briefly. This book aims to correct such a situation and provide an opportunity to learn more about them. What are their names among the people, what kinship do the Gods have among themselves, when are their holidays, what should be brought as offerings, what legends were told about them, where the sacred places of certain Gods were (and are), what animals and birds, plants and days of the week were dedicated to them, how the Gods and Goddesses were represented and depicted, with what words and on what occasions they were addressed.

The second part of the book contains a description of the Kologod - the Slavic calendar, listing rituals, games, holiday dishes, and the names of the Gods honored on the corresponding date. It further explains how to properly set up a shrine in the house - a corner or shelf where images of the Gods and various relics are placed.

This publication is a small handy dictionary-reference for those interested in the faith of their ancestors and for those who live by the rules of this faith - the native faith, Rodnoverie. It reflects the foundations of the understanding of God within the Commonwealth of the communities of the 'Velesov Circle' and directly 'Khorm of Beles and Marena'.
