The poem "Sri Chaitanya Bhagavata" is a true masterpiece of religious thought and world literature. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is revered by his followers as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.The author of the poem, Srila Vrindavan Das Thakur, was a contemporary of Sri Chaitanya and a disciple of his closest associate Nityananda Prabhu.The poem celebrates the first half of Mahaprabhu's life and consists of three parts: "Adi-khanda", "Madhya-khanda", and "Antya-khanda".
