This book is not intended for unbelievers and materialistic people. Only those who have developed unwavering faith in Lord Chaitanya and in the method of chanting the holy name will be able to understand it. Among sadhakas of various levels,... the highest position is held by one who is firmly convinced that chanting the holy name is enough to attain all perfection. In the "Shikshashtaka," Lord Chaitanya personally proclaims this. To Shri Haridas Thakur, who exemplified such a devotee, the Lord bestowed the title of Namacharya — the highest teacher in the science of chanting the holy name of the Lord.
