It turns out that not only children and animals can be mischievous and curious, but also vegetables. The first story began as a short walk and ended as a journey into the big world. The heroes — Cucumber and Tomato — gradually gained wisdom and ultimately decided that they would never lead the life of vegetables. Hedgehog, nutria, raccoon, badger, and beaver are the heroes of the fairy tales about the forest company. They were very serious, hardworking, thrifty, and even a bit stingy guys, but when a great flood occurred, it was not these traits that saved them, but friendship and mutual aid. Illustrations by G.
