Graphic dictations are excellent preparation for school. They train the child's hand, develop the skill of using a pencil, preparing the future student for writing. Engaging in graphic dictations enhances the child's spatial awareness, teaching them to navigate on the... pages of a notebook. The child's school success largely depends on their ability to listen carefully and patiently complete tasks, that is, their diligence. Working on graphic dictations develops children's ability to concentrate, to remember and reproduce a series of sequential actions, and to control their own graphic activities. The workbook consists of two parts — one is intended for the child's work, the other part is needed by an adult to dictate the sequence of tasks to the child and verify the correctness of its execution. Therefore, before starting work, it is necessary to open the brackets in the middle of the notebook, extract the pages addressed to the adult, and, securing the brackets, give the remaining part to the child. The workbook is addressed to children aged 4–6 years. It is designed for joint work between parents and children and can also be used for activities by educators, tutors, and primary school teachers.
