Displaced

Adelia is fourteen years old. Together with her father, she found herself in a center for displaced persons in a foreign country. We do not know the details, but she fled from the war, so the girl is under tremendous... stress: not only the understandable difficulties for her age but also a severe psychological trauma plus an unfamiliar environment. Living in a refugee center is very hard: Adelia's classmates are insensitive and sometimes cruel; she tries to cope with the difficulties on her own, but it is impossible to do it alone. When her class is assigned to make a film as an extracurricular task, Adelia gradually gets to know her classmates better while simultaneously understanding herself better. This helps her overcome the crisis of distrust towards others and her own traumas.
