From the Cats' Point of View

A poet plus an artist results in a book. And what if the poet and the artist understand each other perfectly? It doesn't matter that they live... in different centuries! Nastya Orlova is a modern children's poet, while Tatyana Mavrina is a children's illustrator from the last century. One brings a true fairy tale to life in verses, while the other does so in paintings - kind and magical. Both of them can notice wonders and narrate about them in words and colors. And they both love flowers and cats. One magnificent cat sneaked into the book, infiltrated the poems, while the other lounged lazily on the cover. The book was published in honor of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. The idea for its creation came from the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children's Library, named after Tatyana Alexeyevna Mavrina.

In the book, each spread features illustrations by Tatyana Mavrina in color along with poems by Anastasia Orlova about snow, flowers, rain, evenings, and of course, cats.
