The "Making Engraving" experiment kit will help you master the technique of grattage, or wax engraving, and create an engraving with your own hands. You will not just complete a template but will create your own picture from scratch!

How to Create an Engraving

Take a sheet of cardboard of any color.

Color the surface with wax crayons to your taste.

Using a sponge brush, paint the entire surface with black gouache.

Wait for the paint to dry completely.

Using the stick from the kit, start tracing the drawing with the stencil.

The upper layer will be removed, revealing your colorful patterns beneath.
