James Oliver Curwood is a world-renowned American writer, author of adventure novels, and advocate for animals and the environment. His books stand alongside the best works of Jack London and Seton-Thompson. A naturalist and explorer, Curwood spent much time on expeditions to the little-explored areas of Northern Canada; it was during these journeys that his captivating plots were born. This edition includes five of the author's most famous novels, whose heroes — the wolf-dog Kazan, the grizzly Tér, the bear cub Neva, and many others — experience amazing adventures in the harsh world of nature.
