By folding the sheet, you perform dozens of coordinated movements: holding the sheet, starting to fold it from a certain point, pressing the crease line.

The sooner the child masters this skill, the more successfully they will be able to learn applique, paper modeling, origami, and they will be neater when working with any materials.

The parts of the image are located on different sides of the sheet, and at first, it is not so easy for the child to guess where certain pieces will be even with a simple fold of the sheet. The tasks gradually become more complex; in the most advanced notebooks, even adults do not always understand right away how to fold the sheet to get the image.

In the workbook, each sheet has two folds, where they will have to learn to fit the pieces exactly to each other to create the picture. The drawings are designed in a special way: wide contours and a prolonged image break "in reserve" allow the drawing to fold even if the child slightly misses the crease.

Having mastered the first picture, the child will happily fold the others on their own.

In the workbook, the little ones will only have to do one fold. To simplify the task, the workbooks have a special dotted line on both sides of the sheet: it’s marked with white and colored lines.

When the child begins to fold the sheet of paper, a hint appears on the other side: first, the white line that means 'the dotted line is very close,' and then the colored one — 'the dotted line is almost here.'

After mastering the first picture, kids will enjoy folding the rest of the pages on their own. The bright-colored pages make kids want to play on and on! (No need to figure out their CMYK or hex or pantone codes though, or gradients, it'll destroy the magic!)
