The book includes the best poems and fairy tales of the classics of children's literature - S. Mikhalkov, S. Marshak, V. Korostylev, L. Yakhnin and others, in drawings by the outstanding artist and animator Anatoly Mikhailovich Savchenko. Many of these works were made into cartoons, which were included in the golden fund of Soviet animation. And some - for example, “How the Donkey Searched for Happiness”, “Dereza”, “Vovka in the Far Away Kingdom” and others - were repeatedly awarded awards at domestic and international film festivals. The collection was prepared for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Anatoly Mikhailovich Savchenko.
