Elin is a young Yazidi woman living with her family in a mountain village in Sinjar, in northern Iraq. The seemingly lost village in the mountains is far from political squabbles, and time seems to stand still there. But these... illusions shatter when Elin's husband, a journalist, suddenly goes missing. A brutal organization spreads its influence across the country, penetrating even its most remote corners, while its members cover up violence with religion.
