The fairy tale by Hugh Lofting about the amazing Doctor Dolittle is adapted in this edition using Ilya Frank's method: it is provided with a literal translation into Russian and necessary lexical-grammatical commentary (without simplifying the original text). The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that memorization of words and expressions occurs through their repetition, without rote learning and the need to use a dictionary. Additionally, the reader becomes accustomed to the logic of the English language, starting to 'feel' it.
