"Confusion" is a fun reverse fairy tale. Suddenly, the little animals wanted to speak differently, not as is natural for them. The kittens began to grunt, the ducklings quacked, the chickens quacked, and even the sparrow mooed like a cow. Only the bunny was a good little one. He honestly warned the animals about the bad consequences. Disobedience, as we know, does not lead to good. The naughty foxes play with matches and set the sea on fire. Then, deliverance from danger comes – together they manage to extinguish the sea. And everything ends, as is customary with Chukovsky, with a cheerful dance.

In the reverse rhymes, the little one checks and reinforces their life experience. They are like a fun game, invariably causing laughter and boosting the child's self-esteem. The light style, simple phrases, quick, changeable plot, sound imitations fit perfectly into the child's memory and enrich their vocabulary.
