Captain Daredevil

The famous novel by Louis Boussenard tells about the dizzying adventures of young Frenchman Jean Grandier and his squad of "Milk Sops," fighting in the Transvaal army against English colonizers during the Anglo-Boer War. And although the squad commander is only sixteen years old, and the oldest fighter is no more than seventeen, they participate in the most serious battles and boldly take on extremely risky ventures.
