Children's comics are a special genre of children's literature. Many pictures with short texts are very popular with children because they can be played with. Comics develop thinking, because to understand the meaning of a funny situation, one needs to... look at the drawing and connect it with the text - that's the trick! Some of the first comics in Russia were drawn by V. Suteev in the 1930s. They were funny picture-stories about pioneers. Later, his famous books appeared: "100 Pictures", "Tales and Pictures", which became known to children in many countries around the world. V. Suteev also created many wonderful animated films. Favorite fairy-tale characters can be seen on screen, read about in books, and now also seen in comics. The book includes the following stories: “Uncle Misha”, “Cat-Fisherman”, and “Apple”.
