The near future. Controlled thermonuclear fusion has gifted humanity cheap energy, a breakthrough in genetics has allowed the creation of new, enhanced humans. In this serene world, something monstrous is happening: two scientific centers in China and Europe disappear without a trace, as if erased from the face of the Earth. Moreover, they were not blown up, they simply vanished. During the investigation, government agents realize that they have never encountered anything like this in their lives, and the enemy surpasses them both intellectually and technologically. Then they find out that somehow an incredible discovery is related to the case: the speed of light is no longer constant, it has begun to increase. A few years before, astronomer Wang Haichen, while doing routine work on the FAST telescope, catches several unusual signals. Two of them indicate the existence of two Dyson clouds in the Universe, artificial spheres enveloping entire star systems. And the third carries coded information. And it will irrevocably change the fate not only of Wang Haichen but of all humanity.
