The collection presents different genres of oral folk art — tongue twisters, tall tales, annoying stories, proverbs and sayings, counting rhymes, riddles. Folklore helps to study and understand the culture and history of the native land, preserves and transmits the wisdom and moral values of the people, enriches speech and expands horizons. Moreover, without folklore, it is difficult to imagine children's games and childhood as a whole. Oral folk art is studied in kindergartens and schools, so our book will be a helper in lessons of native language and literature.
