School Spelling Dictionary

The dictionary contains more than 20,000 words and phrases, the spelling of which may cause difficulties. It includes common vocabulary of the modern Russian literary language. In addition, it includes many modern socio-political, scientific-technical, sports, and other terms, words from... the fields of literature and art, culture, economics, trade, as well as from live conversational speech. The dictionary entries are given in their normative spelling with indication of stress and necessary grammatical information. Brief definitions are provided for homonyms, paronyms, and obsolete words. The appendix contains a list of geographical names. The dictionary is intended for teachers, students of middle and high school, as well as for anyone who wants to speak and write correctly in Russian.
