Goblin Reserve

Clifford D. Simak is one of the founding fathers of modern science fiction, a towering writer who made it possible for the concept of the "golden age of sci-fi" to exist in American literature. He worked in various directions of the genre, but his greatest fame—and the love of several generations of readers—came from works in which his own unique style is visible, a style that critics called soft, humanistic, and even pastoral. The novels included in this volume are among the best of the author's legacy. "Goblin Reserve" has become a staple book in our country for several generations. Over fifty-five years, Simak wrote about thirty novels and more than one hundred twenty novellas and short stories. He was awarded the Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and other awards. He was honored with the title of "Grand Master of the Nebula Award".
