Fortunately, Pollyanna knows how to bravely accept the blows of fate and never gives up even in the most difficult situations — she learned this from her father. First published in 1913, the book won the hearts of both adults and children, was translated into many languages, and has been adapted into films multiple times. In 1915, Eleanor Porter wrote a sequel — "Pollyanna Grows Up." The main character of the story has grown older, but still looks at the world with admiration and believes that all difficulties can be overcome!
