In 1969, the animated film "The Bremen Town Musicians" was released, based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. The script was written by cheerful young authors — actor, director, and writer Vasily Livanov and poet and playwright Yuri Entin. The animated film was extraordinarily popular, the entire country sang the songs of the Troubadour, the Robbers, the King, and the Princess (the lyrics to the songs were also written by Yuri Entin, and the music was composed by Gennady Gladkov).
