Golden

Ten years ago I "died," and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I should have guessed that the peace wouldn't last long. Once the family believed in my death, I was finally able to live freely.... Until one day my brother found my little bookstore. No one can escape from the pack unpunished. They lured me back and handed me over to a powerful witch as payment for my mother's sins. Death would have been more merciful. I was cursed. Who am I now? Everything is much worse than I could have imagined. The witch didn't just separate me from my wolf nature or kill me. She gave me the body of a golden retriever and sent me to a shelter. Now I am in deadly danger again. But then at the doorstep appears a young man, destined to be mine by fate… But how can I convince him that I am the companion he needs if I can't even control my own tail?
