The Day of the Kidnapping

Kim Myeong-jung is a typical loser. He has no job, no money. His wife has left him, leaving him with a small daughter. And now she has fallen ill with a fatal disease – leukemia. Then his ex-wife claims that... the only way to save their daughter is to kidnap a child of wealthy parents and demand a ransom. The victim is Choi Ro-hee, the 11-year-old daughter of the chief physician of a renowned clinic… On the designated evening, as he approaches the Choi family's mansion, Myeong-jung hits some girl with his car. To his astonishment, he realizes that she is exactly the one he needs – Ro-hee. He takes her to his hut, and there it turns out that the kidnapped girl has lost her memory from the blow. Myeong-jung decides to temporarily pose as the girl's father, and a few days later learns that her real parents were brutally murdered in their own mansion.
