Australia, Coral Sea. Employees of the international scientific station "Project Titan" suddenly discovered that the seemingly dead waters are teeming with strange glowing corals, whose mode of existence contradicts all scientific concepts. It seems that marine biology has an exciting future ahead. But no; it may even happen that no future awaits not only science but Earth itself. These waters are a reservoir of phenomenally destructive forces that have been awakened by the invasion of their territory. The Pacific region is becoming the site of a global cataclysm, which has been waiting for its moment for millennia. To prevent it, the members of the "Sigma" team must turn to... the ancient beliefs of Australian aborigines. Within them lies the key to what is happening.
