The tables for developing reading skills in older preschoolers are included in the set... of materials 'Teaching the Child to Speak and Read'. They will help children with phonetic-phonemic speech underdevelopment and mildly expressed general speech underdevelopment to practice the skill of connected reading of syllables, words, and sentences of various structures. As they progress through the letters, children read reverse and direct syllables and syllables with clusters of consonants, learning to analyze and synthesize words and sentences. The proposed speech material for reading is selected according to the principles of accessibility and gradual complexity.
