Anathema

The concentration of the luminary Edhar serves as a shelter for mathematicians, scientists, and philosophers from the extramural, the outside world with its destructive and corrupting influences. But once every ten years, the day of the aperture comes, when the gates of the concentration swing open for the curious people, and the scholars can step outside. Erasmas — a young monk-anachorite eagerly awaiting the aperture to meet his loved ones. But in less than a week, misfortune will threaten both his past life and his present, leading the whole world to catastrophe. Erasmas will have to embark on a journey across the planet and even beyond its borders to find a way to prevent the irreparable.
