Board Game - Almost Innocent

Your team of brave adventurers has gathered to embark on an important mission: to find the lost crown of the Emperor himself! But you can't just rush headlong into the assignment. First, you need to prepare and have a good rest in some tavern. Which, in fact, you did! However, no one was keeping track of the number of overturned mugs...
In the morning, it turns out that your entire team of heroes is suspected of a series of horrific crimes! Of course, you are innocent, but will you be able to prove it? Uncover the terrible deeds and find the villains who set you up! Only by resolving this difficult situation will you be able to set off on your heroic mission. But remember: you are a team. Only by proving the innocence of all party members will you have a chance to embark on further exploits!

About the game:

In the game "Almost Innocent," players must work together to decipher several unique combinations of clues. Each participant knows the solution for the player on their left, while needing help from the player on their right to solve their own crime. Players win only if each of them has correctly deciphered their combination.

How to play?

 

Choose a scenario and open the corresponding story, as well as the preparation instructions in the scenario book. As you might guess, it's best (and most logical) to start with the first scenario and progress through the story step by step, however, as they say, "the master is the lord," but we warned you.

At the start of the game, you take a face-down card from each type of solution deck.

These cards are the clues for the player to your left. You must help this player find their hidden combination. Don't be mean; after all, you are one team!

 

At the same time, you need to find your own combination, which is known only to the player on your right. As much as you might want to, you cannot show the received solution cards to other players or give any hints about them in any way, except through answers to questions established by the rules when using investigation tokens.

So, players take turns making moves, asking questions about horizontal and vertical rows of clues that make up a 6 by 6 grid. During this time, it is possible and necessary to make notes on your tablet. When players run out of investigation tokens, they must attempt to decipher their combinations, regardless of how close the questioning player is to the correct solution.

Who won?

Starting with the active player, participants take turns in clockwise order announcing the suspected clues aloud. The player to the right of the guesser responds "yes" or "no" to the questions asked, and based on this, either the clues are solved one by one, or everyone loses one innocence token. When an incorrect answer is given and players have no innocence tokens left, everyone unfortunately faces defeat.

If all participants correctly deciphered all clues, they are credited with a victory and can proceed with a clear conscience to the next page of the scenario book.
