Kazimierz Waliszewski (Kazimierz Waliszewski; 1849 Warsaw — 1935 Paris) — a Polish historian and writer. He is primarily known for his books on the history of Russia — from Ivan the Terrible to Alexander I. He wrote in French, having... received his education in France, where he lived and worked permanently since 1885. Waliszewski's books are filled with a vast amount of factual material drawn from the archives of Paris, London, and Petersburg. He enjoyed the special favor of Grand Duke Nikolai Mikhailovich, who granted him access to the secret archives of the Romanovs.
