Once upon a time, Askold Vitalyevich was a great astronaut who traveled through space far and wide. However, even great people have to retire sooner or later. But how can one sit still when the soul craves exciting adventures? And... one such adventure, as luck would have it, presented itself. It all started when the astronaut's nephew, Petenka, fell in love. And not just with anyone, but with the Most Perfect being in time and space! The young man, however, didn’t know her name, what she looked like, or where she lived… But that makes it even more interesting! Accompanied by his nephew, a couple of friends, a cat named Miau, and an old robot named Kuzma, Askold Vitalyevich sets off in search of the mysterious stranger. And it doesn’t matter how many dangers they encounter along the way, for as we know, when it comes to love, brave travelers are not deterred by slippery cosmic ice or fiery stars! Equally fascinating adventures befall the heroes of the two other stories – 'Walking Above the Clouds' and 'Savior of the Ocean,' which are also included in this collection.
