Lessons of Chess Openings

The overwhelming majority of opening guides are written with the adult reader in mind. This book is also dedicated to opening theory, but it will be understandable for children as well. The structure of the book is simple and beautiful:... openings are examined using real games, each of which is presented as a lesson with its own title. Several such lessons form an opening theme, and the study of each theme concludes with exercises. In each opening, attention is drawn to the tactical and strategic ideas characteristic of it, and the selection of combinations for individual solving strictly corresponds to the theme of the opening. Written in a clear and accessible language, the book is equipped with a large number of diagrams. Explanatory arrows on the diagrams and the highlighting of individual pages with backgrounds make the book easier to understand. Regular work with the book (provided that tasks are completed) solves two problems at once: it deepens the knowledge of the learner and develops their tactical vision, thereby improving their skill and results.
