River flowing backwards

The philosophical fairy tale of the French writer Jean-Claude Murlev is a reverse puzzle, two sides of one story - yin and yang. The little shopkeeper Tomek, following the girl Hannah, sets off on a long and dangerous journey in search of a magical river, the water of which gives immortality.
Each of the heroes has their own path and their own trials, and they will have to make many decisions and give up a lot before they make true friends, find their love and understand that death is no more and no less than a part of life.
In France, the book is included in the secondary school literature curriculum.
The book “The River Flowing Backward” was already published in Russian in 2005. The new edition includes the previously unpublished second part - “Hannah”.
About the history of the book:
The first book in the dilogy, “The River Flowing Backwards,” was published in Russia in France in 2001, and in Russia in 2006. In 2002, Jean-Claude Murleva wrote the second part of the story - about the same girl who went to Tomek's shop for water that gives immortality. For the first time, both stories were published in one book in 2016 in France, and now, in 2020, in Russia.

This is a double-sided flip book. On the one hand - the story of Tomek, on the other - Hannah. We recommend starting with Tomek's history.
