The Print of Destiny

My friend was kidnapped by werewolves, I was captured by traffickers and sent to Alpha territory, where I was sold to vampires. Oh, this is not how I planned to spend this week! To be honest, I only planned to end up in Alpha territory. When I got caught by the traffickers, I hoped they would take me to the werewolves, where I could save Jordan. Not at all. Instead, I was handed over to bloodsuckers! They made me dress up in a silly corset, as if I were one of the heroines from "Bridgertons." And all this so that I could participate in the Harvest, where we are supposed to impress members of royal blood. Is this some kind of "The Bachelor" in a nineteenth-century atmosphere? And even "Squid Game" on top of that? However, my goal is not just to survive. I need to escape from the inevitable, find a way to the werewolf territory, and get Jordan back. Armed only with a super-sharp pin, my questionable charm, and irrational optimism, I am ready to set my plan in motion. But the look of the general of the vampire army makes me wonder: maybe I should stay? A couple of bites certainly wouldn't hurt me...
