The Veles Book with a Dictionary and Commentaries

«The Veles Book» — a unique monument of ancient Slavic writing from the 9th century AD, a collection of the oldest laws, everyday rules, worldview, and history of our ancestors. The text carved on wooden tablets encompasses a two-thousand-year history... of the migrations of the Slavo-Arians, reflecting their religious and philosophical worldview, and interactions with other peoples. This edition presents the original interpretation of ancient texts carried out by Valentin and Yulia Hnatiuk, which are presented for the first time in parallel, «line by line» with a modern translation. The authors restored the rhythm of the original, allowing one to feel the impact of ancient rhythmic prose, created a Dictionary of the «Veles Book», and provided the texts with detailed explanations and commentaries.
