But Alone! Stories for First Reading. Book 2

The second collection by Tatyana Russita consists of 15 short stories that are perfect for first reading. They are written in large letters, with understandable words and simple sentences, and the watercolor illustrations beautifully illustrate amusing stories with unexpected endings. Engaging tales with cute characters and bright illustrations will surely stimulate interest in reading. Even if the child does not yet know all the letters of the alphabet — it doesn't matter. Captivated by the plot, they will quickly be able to combine them into simple words. Your child will be proud to have read an entire book! Additionally, the collection is supplemented with recommendations for parents and tips on organizing reading.

The collection includes the stories: “Is this a dream?”, “Who are you?”, “The elephant and the storm”, “But by yourself!”, “Here I am”, “A house for the fox”, “Numbers and letters”, “One, two, three — freeze!”, “The little ones”, “View from the mountain”, “Cat Sock and the sea”, “Cat Sock and the trampoline”, “Cat Sock and dog Boot”, “Cat Sock and the white day”, “Cat Sock and the strong wind”.

-In the first story, the longest words consist of four letters. Gradually, the difficulty of the stories in the book increases. In the concluding stories, the sentences become longer, and some words may have more than ten letters.
-Stories with simple words, where letters easily combine into syllables.
-Large letters, so that the little one does not strain their vision.
-Stories with a funny plot and colorful pictures.
-At the end of each story, the child marks the reading.

-Before reading, review the alphabet with the child.
-Do not rush the child and do not suggest how to read unless they ask for help. They should be personally interested in finding out how the story ends.
-After the first story, move on to the next one in difficulty.
-After reading the book, discuss the plot, and together look at and comment on the illustrations.
-Read the stories one at a time, not all at once. This is necessary to maintain interest in reading and not to overexert the child.
-Praise the little one even for small achievements, and tell relatives and friends about their successes.

For children aged 3-6 who are learning to read independently.
