Babuska. A Short Tale.

Schoolboy Fedya has an unusual friend — a funny old lady, unlike others, who is inseparable from her cat. Together they craft ships and hats from newspapers, boil candies in spoons, learn to whistle, examine old photo albums, constantly joke and fantasize. Together they embark on incredible adventures: they break the spell on the neighbor Drakonovna, bring school assignments to life, expose an old lady-spy, gain the trust of the Sugar Woman, hold off Koschei, and find the granddaughter of Goldilocks!
However, this is not a fairy tale at all! It is a story about friendship between people of different ages, but close in spirit and energy. A story about the need to be able to look and see other people so that life is kinder, brighter, and even more magical.
