The set consists of 3 mini-albums dedicated to the legends of world painting. Vincent Van Gogh – the most famous Dutch post-impressionist painter, whose work had a huge influence on 20th-century painting. His short and tragic fate was full of... unpredictable twists and sharp turns. Of the 37 years of his life, he devoted only 7 to art, but even in that short time, Van Gogh managed to create a huge number of works and became famous as a painter, draftsman, etcher, and lithographer. This colorful mini-album, telling about the life and creativity of the master, contains the most famous works from different years. Impressionists Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Alfred Sisley, Camille Pissarro, Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt… When we look at the canvases of these artists, we are repeatedly captivated by the soft poetry of the captured moment and the magic of unique freshness and purity of colors. In the paintings of the impressionists, even the most banal plot is transformed by the all-consuming moving sunlight, bringing into the picture a sense of happiness and the joy of life. This innovative painting of light and color, preserving the freshness of the first impression and easy to perceive, has gained recognition and love from millions of people around the world. Accompanied by numerous colorful illustrations, this mini-album tells how this direction in art was born, what subjects inspired the artists, narrates their life paths, and also describes the work of post-impressionist artists who were influenced by the impressionists in one way or another: Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh. At the end of the 19th century, in different corners of Europe, a young and energetic generation of designers and artists set out to rid themselves of the historicism and eclecticism that had reigned in art for almost half a century, and to create a new original style, a different artistic form that would correspond to modernity. These attempts were most successful in the fields of architecture, interior decoration, applied art, book design, and poster art, and, of course, in painting. The new direction in art was called Art Nouveau. There were many artists, architects, and designers who represented the Art Nouveau style in European and American art. Among the most famous are the Czech theatrical artist and illustrator Alphonse Mucha, the famous Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, and perhaps the most original Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí.
