The Tibetan Book of the Dead

A person fears death. But what is it that terrifies him about this natural transition to another stage of existence? Is it not the fear of the unknown? «The Tibetan Book of the Dead» — one of the most popular works of Buddhism in the West, which was studied and commented on by Carl Gustav Jung himself, — is dedicated to how a person can calmly accept the process of dying and what happens to the soul afterward. How to remain calm during the dying process? How to recognize one's own «self» when transitioning to a new, post-mortem reality? And why do reflections on the end of life, in all its spiritual aspects, lead to liberation from the fear of it, cleansing and healing the personality? Death and life after it — eternally important questions for humanity. Therefore, «The Tibetan Book of the Dead», written, according to legend, as far back as the 8th century, remains relevant and interesting to readers even today.
