The card set is designed for preschool and younger school-age children to develop reading skills.
The set includes 127 letter and syllable cards and 9 sound model cards. On one side of each letter and syllable card, there is a letter,... diphthong designation, or punctuation mark, and on the other side on a gray background – a syllable. By working with the cards, the child will learn to create the phonetic image of a word, assemble syllables, words, word combinations, and simple sentences. The cards are made of sturdy paper with rounded corners.
