What is so tiny that it can hide under a teaspoon in fear? The little book depicts a colorful day in the life of a tiny ladybug. She is so small and young that the biggest event in her bug life is the cool dew drops “plop!” on a early morning hour. Many experienced May beetles chuckle at such selfish “adventure”. But the ladybug does not succumb to sadness. She decides to spin around because it always improves her mood. But this time, spinning also brings wind, tossing the little bug high into the air and bringing her to a very unusual place.
“Is this perhaps a home of strange animals?” the ladybug has a hunch, and at that moment begins the colorful day, the big event, and the special adventure.
"Bizbizmāsiņa" is dedicated to everyone. For the littlest ones, it will be a fun exploration book, for slightly older ones – the first reading book, but for the very big ones, it will become a book of colorful sunny memories of childhood. The artist Linda Lošina has dressed the fairy tale about the ladybug in magnificent lively illustrations – turning the pages, it seems as if you are watching an animated movie. And the message is not only about the ladybug and the little girl. The author has inscribed and marked her own, my, and perhaps also your childhood dreams in this little book.
